2 Allergy Relief Soap Recipes – Vegan Option - Simple Life Mom (1)

I’ve been working hard to boost my immune system this year and it has definitely been paying off. My allergies are much better this spring so far. I still get itchy eyes and sneeze occasionally and so do my children, so I thought I’d go ahead and create an aromatherapy allergy relief soap recipe so that when they need to shower and open up their sinuses they can get some extra relief by the soap they are using.

Essential Oils for Allergies

Allergies are always changing. When your immune system is down because of lack of sleep, eating poorly, a recent illness, or being around a lot of allergens at once. You are much more likely to have a reaction then if you were well rested, eating well, and strong.

We are all different. One essential oil may not be as effective for your allergies as another one. There are a few essential oils that are commonly known to give most people great relief. Smell each one of them when you are having some allergy issues and see which ones are more calming, open up nasal passages, and calm irritated eyes and nose.

Essential Oils that can help:

My personal favorite is the combination of peppermint, lavender, and lemon. These are the essential oils I’ve used in the recipe below, but feel free to interchange them for one of the other essential oils in the same total quantity.
