iPhone 14 colors: Here's all your options (2024)

With the iPhone 14 unveiled at September 7 Apple event, the guessing game about iPhone 14 colors is long over. In detailing all the new features of its latest phones, Apple introduced five options for the iPhone 14 and four choices for the iPhone 14 Pro. So now it's time to make a decision on which color is right for you.

If you followed rumors about iPhone 14 colors, you at least had some advance notice of the new options coming to Apple's lineup. Rumors had pointed to a purple colorway, and lo and behold, that's exactly what Apple added for both the standard iPhone 14 and the Pro models. Other colors should be familiar if you're an iPhone veteran. And there's a new yellow option for springtime.

Here's a look at the iPhone 14 color options for all four new models.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus colors

The iPhone 14 Plus replaces the mini models Apple has offered for the last two years, but like the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 13 mini before it, the Plus matches the color options found in the standard 6.1-inch iPhone.

That means if you opt for the iPhone 14 or iPhone 14 Plus, you get to choose between midnight (black), starlight (white), blue, purple, yellow and Product RED. Moonlight, Starlight and RED are mainstays of the iPhone lineup. (The latter raises money and awareness for health emergencies.)

Blue is a returning color, though the new shade is more a sky blue compared to the darker hue that the iPhone 13 came in. Purple is the newcomer here, though even there, Apple offered a purple iPhone 12 option back in the day.

On March 7, Apple announced a new yellow colorway for the iPhone 14.

iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone Pro Max colors

The rumors were spot on here, with purple as the only newcomer for the iPhone 14 Pro models. It joins some familiar options — gold, silver and space black.

Apple specifically calls the purple version for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max "Deep Purple." It's definitely darker than the purple version of the iPhone 14.

iPhone 14 colors: How recent models compare

Now that we know what the iPhone 14 colors are, we can add those options to the table of recent iPhone color options.

Note that the chart above doesn't include colors Apple added to its iPhone lineup after launch. The past two springs, Apple has augmented both the standard Pro models with an additional color — purple in the case of the iPhone 12, green or the iPhone 13.

And it would seem that Apple followed a similar pattern in 2023, with the arrival of the new yellow iPhone 14 option.
