Offensive line play remains one of the most misunderstood and underrated parts of the game, even as fans get more knowledgeable every year thanks to the wealth of football #contentout there.
The Houston Texans have been hit-or-miss in their trenches over the past four seasons. They feature an All-Pro left tackle in Laemy Tunsil, who remains one of the league’s best in pass protection on the blindside when healthy. They also have featured a turnstyle at center and left guard since 2021, with 11 total players seeing action at the role.
Fresh off an 11-8 season, things are trending up for Houston in 2024 Not only will the Texans bring back four full-time starters, but also two potential finds in Jarrett Patterson and second-round pick Blake Fisher. Houston also still is banking on former first-round pick Kenyon Green to live up to expectations now fully recovered from a season-ending shoulder injury.
