It's Vintage Now. Apple today updated the public-facing vintage and obsolete products list on its website. The page confirms that all first-generation Apple Watch models are now obsolete, as we reported earlier this month based on an internal memo.

The Apple Watch series one stopped being supported a little over 3 years ago. It's unfortunate but unless you maintained a phone that did not update to an incompatible iOS you were going to face this issue eventually. It's more like planned obsolescence, so you are forced to buy a new one (which I have, by the way).

The 1st Gen Apple Watch is still a great piece of tech, but if it hasn't been cared for over the years, then you're not going to be happy with it. So make sure you're buying one that's been properly cared for by professionals in the refurbished industry.
