Larsen, Wisconsin Age 61, died Friday, December 28, 2001 at Appleton Medical Center. He was born June 10, 1940 in Neenah, Wisconsin, the son of the late Howard and Margaret (Schultz) Kuhr. Tom loved his family and friends. He enjoyed pretty pigeons.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; a son, Howard; a step-daughter, Jennifer; three sisters: Susie Kuhr, Diane Grimmer and Chris (Louie) Christiansen; brother, David Kuhr; two sisters-in-law: Peg Neumann and Karen Kuhr, nieces and nephews; four stepgrandchildren: Amber, Devin, Jacob and Hailey. It was Tom's wish to be cremated. There will be no visitation or funeral service. The Lewin Funeral Home, Fremont is assisting the family with arrangements. Martineau, RalphA.

"Buck" Sherwood Age 85, died Thursday, December 27, 2001 at his home with his family by his side. He was born May 15, 1916 in Spruce, Wisconsin son of the late Joseph and Lola (LaBarge) Martineau. Ralph was a World War II Navy Veteran having served eight years in active duty and 26 years in the Naval Reserve. On October 25, 1945 Ralph married the former Norma Rusch in Kimberly. The couple resided in the area their entire married lives.

Ralph retired from Kimberly Clark, Kimberly in 1974. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Ralph was a member of the William Verhagen Post 60 of the American Legion, Kimberly. Survivors include his wife and best friend of 56 years, Norma, Sherwood; a daughter and son-in-law: Linda and Arthur Wittman, Sherwood; two grandchildren: Kristin (Thomas) Uitenbroek and Scott Wittman, his sister, Helen Hagens, Kimberly.

He is further survived by his wife's family, a sister-in-law, Lorraine Lemmens, numerous nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by a sister, five brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law: Celia (Henry) Coonen, Lawrence Hagens, Roland (his first wife, Geneva and second wife, Margaret) Rusch, Harold (Martha) Rusch, Henry Lemmens. Funeral services will be 7 p.m. Sunday at the Boettcher Family Funeral Home, 2401 Fielderest Drive, Kaukauna with Pastor Walter Steinbach officiating. Complete military rites by the William Verhagen Post 60 will follow the services.

Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Appleton. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 p.m. Sunday until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the VNA Hospice for their care and support.

Morgan, Clarence E. Formerly of Menasha, age 95, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2001 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. He was born July 7, 1906 in Carney, Michigan, son of the late James and Nellie (Ritter) Morgan. He married Catherine Cady on May 21, 1933 in Phlox, Wisconsin.

Clarence spent his youth in Ladysmith, Wisconsin. He has been a Menasha resident since 1928. He was a former employee of the George Banta Company, retiring in 1957 after 27 years. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club. Clarence was a member of St.

Patrick Catholic Church, Menasha, the BPOE of NeenahMenasha, the Neenah-Menasha Knights of Columbus and a member of the Die Hard Cubs Fan Club. Info 847-566-8020 Sande Swoboda, Sara Elizabeth Age 86, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2001, in Madison, Wisconsin after a long illness. Sara was born June 8, 1915; the daughter of George Sande, a prominent businessman and mayor of Neenah, Wisconsin and Etha McCallum Sande.

Sara graduated from Neenah High School, where she was valedictorian of her class. She attended college at Lawrence University (Appleton) and worked in Madison and Chicago, before moving back to Neenah, where she met her future husband Ralph F. Swoboda, who was originally from Madison. The couple married in 1947 and were longtime residents of Menasha, they raised their two sons. Sara worked part-time as secretary to the pastor at the First Presbyterian Church in Neenah, where Ralph was a church deacon.

Later, they lived in Katonah, New York, where she was a legal secretary at the offices of Blume and Minikus. After Ralph's retirement they lived in Avon, Connecticut. In 1984, Sara and Ralph moved to Madison to be near their grandchildren. Ralph passed away in 1994. Sara is survived by her sons: Ralph S.

Swoboda, Boulder, Colorado; and by four grandchildren: Kathryn, David, Ian and Sara Swoboda: Sara was a OBITUARIES warm, loving and supportive mother and wife, who encouraged her sons to achieve their fullest potential. Schuenemann, Arthur E. 3005 North Drew Street Appleton Age 85, died unexpectedly of a heart attack, Thursday evening, December 27, 2001. He was born on July 20, 1916, in Milwaukee, where he was a resident until moving to Appleton in 1960. While a resident of Milwaukee, Art, had been employed by Filer and Stoell, Harvester Corporation and McKesson Corporation. He retired from McKesson Corporation in Appleton in 1980.

Art enjoyed bowling, which he did 3 or 4 times a week, baseball, playing cards, planting flowers, woodworking and golf. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, where he was an usher and a former member of the bus. (Bill) Elgin, Texas Age 65, formerly of Appleton passed away peacefully at the end of a pleasant Christmas Day at his home in Elgin, Texas after a lengthy illness. He was born in East St.

Louis, Illinois on January 25, 1936 to Woodrow and Margaret Stephens. After serving in the Air Force during the Korean Conflict, Bill's career was in many facets of the insurance industry. He served one term as a county supervisor in Wisconsin. He was a PER in the Elks and was a Mason and a Shriner. Until his health failed, he enjoyed keeping a boat on Lake Travis and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two sons: William (Tom) (Justine), Kingwood, Texas; Scott, Neenah; a daughter, Stephanie Hendricks (Eric), Menasha; three grandchildren: Sara Stephens and Amanda and Lindsay Hendricks, Menasha; his mother, Margaret; a half-sister, Karen and two half-brothers: Bernie and Bob, all of Illinois.
