Hauch, Lorraine Calhoun Lorraine Calhoun Hauch, 87, died Friday, July 21, 2006, at Franciscan Woods in Brook-field, Wis. Lorraine was born on May 27, 1919, in Waukegan, 111., to the late Alvin and Elva (Rassmussen) Calhoun. She married Dr.
Francis M. Hauch; he preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 1985. Lorraine was well-known for her active participation in community affairs, especially her volunteering efforts at the Outagamie County Library and the Outagamie County Historical Society. She was an avid reader, a world traveler and long-time member of St.

2, 1948, in Neenah, Wise. Linda attended grade school in God's teachings at Trinity Lutheran Elementary School and graduated from Neenah High School in 1966. On Aug. 8, 1970, she married James E. Sauer, Sr.
at Trinity Lutheran Church in Neenah. She and husband, Jim, purchased Wheaton's Resort (Oppie and Loretta's) on the east shore of Lake Poygan and ran Sauer's Resort from 1972 to 1983. Her greatest joy was meeting and making lasting friendships with thousands of wonderful customers and everlasting support from true neighbors. Linda was employed at Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 25 years retiring in 1994. From 1984 to Dec.
1994 she also assisted Jim in running Valley Septic Service. In May of 1996, Linda joined the staff of Inland Material Handling in Appleton, leaving their employment in Jan. of 2004. Linda's greatest joys were her husband, children, grandchildren, family, and friends. She thoroughly enjoyed her flowers, garden, a "little" fishing, dancing, gambling, entertaining friends, and camping -anywhere to enjoy God's creations.

She was born January 1, 1924, in St. Austell, Cornwall, England, daughter of the late John and Katherine M. (Nancarrow) Webber.
She attended schools in St. Austell, and was taking classes at arts college when she joined the British Navy during World War II. Among other war duties, she helped clear bombed areas of London's underground, and assisted survivors of concentration camps. She was stationed in Plymouth, Devon, where she met her future American husband, Lee Logan of Seneca, Wisconsin, who was in the U.S. Navy.
They married on September 29, 1945, in St. Austell, and moved to Rhode Island in 1948. They also lived in Madison, Wisconsin, and Des Moines, Iowa, before settling in Apple-ton in 1957. Millie retained her British diction and many English habits family and friends were invariably treated by Millie to tea no matter what time of day they arrived. And they likely sipped their tea close to a vase of fresh flowers.
Millie loved visiting, she loved children, arid she loved animals, especially dogs. She was an avid reader as well, and was active in bridge club. She was also active in the Women's Club and the First United Methodist Church of Apple-ton, and she volunteered at Onieda Heights, playing piano. She loved music. After Lee retired in 1984, they took their recreational vehicle around the country for two years, before settling back in Menasha in 1986.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of more than 60 years, Lee Logan, Menasha; three daughters: Virginia (Steve) Woolpert, of Berkeley, CA; Patricia (Paul) Ashnault, North Conway, NH, and Katherine (Greg) Logan-Turosak, Rochester, MN; four grandchildren: Cara Ashnault, Benjamin Schloesser, Lee Schloesser and Anna Turosak. She is also survived by her brother, Harry Orlando Webber of Parr, England. She further survived by many nieces and nephews, her special friends, Janel Batten and Jeter, and many other two-footed and four-footed friends.
