Siebert, age 78, of Chilton, died on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at The Bay at Northridge Health Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc. He was born September 25, 1942 in Green Bay, son of the late Lorenz William Susan Julia (Treichel) Siebert. He attended grade school at Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Reedsville High School in 1960. He later attendedMilton College where he graduated in 1964 with a degree in business.

It was at this time that hemarried Larelda Gill on July 18, 1964 at Zion Lutheran Church inWayside. Hewas employed at Briess Industries and follow- ing his retirement after 37 years, Carl volunteered for 17 years as theManager at Attic in Chilton. Carl was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church in Chilton where he had served as Presi- dent of the Congregation as well as volunteering with other committees and activities. He was a 48 yearmember of the Chilton Kiwanis Club and vol- unteered as President of the Board for the Chilton Public Library.

He was known for his extensive beer can collection, and was extremely proud to have amassed over 2,000 cans to his collection. Survivors include his wife of 57 years: Larelda; his son: Daniel Siebert; a daughter: Pamela (Jef- frey Klotz) Siebert; and a sister: Nancy (Bernie) Boushka. He is further survived by nieces, neph- ews, other relatives and friends. Carl was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant son: James Daniel Siebert. Funeral service will be at 12:00 Noon on Satur- day, July 10, 2021 at St.

Martin Lutheran Church (717Memorial Drive) in Chiltonwith Rev.Thomas Schmitt officiating. Carl L. Siebert APPLETON Herbert H. Lythjohan passed peace- fully into the arms of Jesus on Sunday June 27th at the age of 88. He is survived by his loving wife Doris, and sons Steven (Brenda) (Barbara) Lythjohan, and Michael (Ann) Lythjohan, grandchildrenDanielle (Brett) Welch, Jessica (Bryan) (Eric) Pigott, Victoria Lythjohan, Cassandra (Logan) Markko, Caroline Lythjohan, Madison Lythjohan, Rayne Lythjohan, step grandchildren Luke (Molly)Hietpas, Nicolaus Stengl, Lucas Stengl, and great grandchil- dren Brooklyn Emmerlyn Pigott, Liv Hietpas. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Stella Lythjohan, brother John Lythjohan, and sister Thelma Pankow.

Herb was born on March 29th, 1933 in Stoughton WI. He grew up on the family farm outside of Cambridge WI, was a multi-sport athlete, and after graduation enlisted in the navy and served his country proudly on the USS Coral Sea during the Korean War conflict as an aviation electronics technician. Herb fell head over heels in love with Doris Petersen on one of his military leaves back inWisconsin, and they were married on August 24th, 1957. Right out of the military, Herb was offered a minor league baseball con- tract as a pitcher, but he chose instead to provide for his family working for and continued to work for them as well as Wisconsin Bell until he retired in 1992. Herb was a man who believed that faith, family, and humble service to others were the meaning of a life well lived.

He (andDoris) were activemembers inmany facets of their congregation (Faith Lutheran Church) in Appleton. Herb was also very active giving back to the community as a Boy Scout Troop Leader for many years and was awarded the Silver Beaver award for distinguished service. After andDoris enjoyedmany activities including keeping the birds (andmany other animals) well fed, tending their garden, traveling south during the winters, serving others, and enjoying their grandchildren. A celebration of life will be celebrated on Saturday July 10th inAp- pleton. Herbert H. Lythjohan NEENAH Lee Robert Snyder, age 79, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2021. He was born in New London on June 5, 1942, son of Lyle Snyder and Phyllis Van Epps. He attended Lincoln Grade School and Washington High School where he played trumpet in the high school band. He also started a three-piece band in high school called The Melody Kings.

So many fun Saturday nights were had dancing to the music. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Leemarried his kindergarten classmate and high school sweetheart, Connie Newland in 1964. They were blessed with two loving and Jodi. Through the years, Lee was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper, Uni- versity of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and Kimberly-Clark.

He retired from Fox Valley Technical College in Appleton. Fun and happiness came from attending family events, whether it was his or his He also loved trout fishing and tying trout flies. He was a lifetime member and past president of Trout Unlimited Fox Valley Chapter. He loved traveling, the Packers, bowling, and watching fireworks. He designed two different homes for his family to live in and had such a good time doing that.

Lee is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Connie; his dy (Gary) Bekx; and Jodi (Brian) St. Aubin; his grandchildren: Claire St. Aubin and Paul St. Aubin; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dave and Theresa Newland, and his nephew, Joshua Newland; as well as other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; by his in-laws, Carl and Edna Newland; and by his grandparents.

A funeral service for Lee will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1390 Breezewood with Rev. Richard Frost officiating. A visitation will be held at church from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of service.

Lee will be laid to rest at Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. A special thank you to the entire staff at Touchmark. Linda was born on October 24, 1946 in Ap- pleton, daughter of the late Fredrick and Mary (Spearman) Jahnke. She was a graduate of Apple- ton West High School, class of 1964.

On September 25, 1971, she mar- ried Ronald Giese in Appleton. The couple would have celebrated 50 years together. Linda was employed with Zwickers for 26 years until they closed, and then she worked part time as a Certified Nursing Assistant with Home Care un- til her retirement. Linda enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, and hunting in her younger years, and cards, shaking dice, auctions, going for car rides, and going out to eat later in life. She also enjoyed going Up North to Michigan to their cabin with Ron.

Linda is survived by her husband of 49 years, Ron of Greenleaf; their son: Scott Giese and his girlfriend, Jocelyn Shafran of Greenleaf; grand- children: Alex, James, and Aleah; her beloved dog, Trigger; her siblings and in-laws: Bill (Mary) Jahn- ke of Greenville, Joyce (Mike) Van De Vyver of Briarton, and Carol Coenen of Darboy, Rae Marie (Lester) Gibson of De Pere; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother- in-law: George and Elizabeth (Freeman) Giese, one brother: Gene Jahnke; and brothers-in-law: Robert (Rose) Giese, Raymond Giese, and Donald Coenen. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 9 at Pielhop Wieting Funeral Home, 215 S. Main St.

in Brillion. Officiating will be Rev. Mark Krueger with burial to follow at Brillion Community Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday evening, July 8 at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
