Ilene Marie Palmer APPLETON Ilene M. Palmer, 95, passed away peacefully, on May 4, 2024 with her daughters by her side. Ilene was born on January 4, 1929 on a farm in Winfred, South Dakota to John and Hildur (Johnson) Carlson. Ilene graduated from Canova South Dakota High School in 1946 and attended Dakota State University where she obtained a teaching certificate.

She spent four years teaching in a one room schoolhouse, leaving a lasting impact on her students with her kindness and dedication. She married the love of her life, Jack D. Palmer, on June 8, 1950. Together they settled in Appleton, where they raised their three children, building a life filled with love and cherished memories. Ilene loved cheering on the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers sports teams that brought her immense joy.

She was an avid reader with an insatiable curiosity for the world and especially treasured the adventures she shared with Jack during their retirement travels all across the globe. Ilene was most proud of her three children and was always ready to tell everyone about their accomplishments. Ilene is survived by her children Connie (Mark) Wunderlich, Dr. Doug (Rebecca) Palmer and Cyndi (Tim) Wehman; grand-children Nathan Winter, Adam Winter, Zachary Palmer, McKinley Palmer, Kendra Olig and Kelsey Wehman; her great-grandchildren Kylee Courtney, Kennedy, Kaydence and Cruz Olig, Noah Palmer and brother Ronald Carlson. Ilene is preceded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, and brother John Arnold Carlson.

A visitation to celebrate and honor life will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior St in Appleton from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. She was employed for many years at Kimberly Clark as a research technician and then at IPS Testing until her retirement. Pam was a true lover of all animals and adopted many dogs and cats over the years and gave them all a happy and loving home.

Pam also had a very green thumb and there any flower or plant that she grow. She had a flower shopping trip planned in a few days and was looking forward to starting the planting season. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, John and Edna Palmer and a brother-in-law, Larry Dawson. She is survived by her sister Nancy Dawson, nephew, Jess Dawson, Great niece, Alexus Remme, Great nephew Sean Dawson and Great, Great niece, Vera Gonzales. Per the families wishes there will be no funeral.

Per the families wishes there will be no funeral. Pamela Ann Palmer Randolph Randy) Edward Sievert Randolph Edward Sievert, age 76, passed away on May 7th, 2024. He was born March 18th 1948, the son of Orville and Theresa (Pat) Sievert.

On September 20, 1980 he married Kathleen (Kathy) Sievert (Schmidt). Randy worked many jobs in his lifetime from maintenance to driving but his favorite job by far was working at FedEx, both as a driver and a package handler. He especially enjoyed the friendships he made as a package handler. Randy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He spent his time square and round dancing, first with his wife Kathy and then later with his square dance partner Judy.

He also liked collecting and counting pop-top (to donate to Ronald McDonald) as well as collecting and repairing pallets. Randy was well liked wherever he went and was always quick with a joke, usually a dad joke. He was passionate about Old Glory Honor Flight and has earmarked a donation in his honor. Randy is survived by his twin daughters, Jennifer Drumm Melissa (Alois Jr) Van Handel; brother, David (Corrine) Sievert; sisters, Barbara Wilson, Connie (David) Zeise, Cynthia (Lenny) Linsmeyer Sandra (Mark) Treiber. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Orlin, and wife Kathy.

He was further preceded in death by a niece and nephew. Funeral services for Randy will be held on May 15th at Valley at 7pm at Valley Funeral Home in Appleton. Friends and family may visit from 4 pm until the time of the service. He will be entombed at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Sherwood with his wife Kathy. In lieu of flowers, donations will be collected and will be donated to Old Glory Honor Flight.

Randolph Edward Sievert, age 76, passed away on May 7th, 2024. He was born March 18th 1948, the son of Or- ville and Theresa (Pat) Sievert. On September 20, 1980 he married Kathleen (Kathy) Sievert (Schmidt).
