(Hansen) Mildred L. (Hansen) Eisch, age 91, was called to her home with the Lord on Sunday (the Lord's Day) October 24, 2010. Mildred was born in Neenah, July 26, 1919, to the late Walter and Martha (Schwightenberg) Staffeld. Mildred married Charles H. Hansen on August 21, 1936.

They had three children: Neil, Mary and Charles. Charles H. died July 28, 1961, when Mildred was 42. She married Frank W. Eisch in Neenah, June 14, 1965.

After Frank's death in 1994, Mom lived in her house on Wright Avenue until 1999 when she went to live with her daughter, Mary. Mildred had many jobs during her life among them working at KimberlyClark and in the meat department for Red Owl. She was a wonderful cook and many sat around her table. Raised by her grandmother from the age of eight, she learned her culinary skills as her grandmother watched and gave her instructions. The family is familiar with many of her antidotes such as, "Grandma Staffeld said, 'When you make mashed potatoes, don't cheat on the butter." At one time, she and Charles took in boarders and Mildred used her cooking prowess to serve three meals a day to all the people living in her home.

Mildred leaves a rich family legacy in her three children; eleven grandchildren; thirand one great-great-grandty-two great grandchildren; child on the way.
