FRIDAY, DECEMBER 30, 2005 POST-CRESCENT WEST PAGE 23 OBITUARIES Gertrude (Lenzner) Peebles New London, 82, passed away Dec. 7. On May 17, 1941 she was united in marriage to Charles Henry Peebles. She worked at Zwickers Knitting Mill and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Hortonville. Survivors include her son Bruce (Darlene) Peebles, New London; her daughter Shirley (Chris) Velte; her brother Wallace (Ramona) Lenzner, Hortonville; her sister Doris Nickel; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a greatgreat-grandson; and two step great-granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lothar and Emma (Meyer) Lenzner; husband Charles and her son Lynn Peebles. Nicholas Joseph Havlik Clintonville, infant twin son of Mark and Stacy (Baranczyk) Havlik passed away before birth Dec. 8. Survivors include his parents; his twin sister Victoria Irene; his maternal grandparents Sylvester and Sandy Baranczyk; his paternal grandparents Leon and Shirley Havlik; and paternal great-grandmother Joyce Sturke. He was preceded in death by his maternal greatgrandparents, Vernon and Irene DeBoth, Frank and Laura Baranczyk, his paternal great-grandparents Frank and Alma Havlik and his greatgrandfather Joseph Sturke.

Paul J. Hietpas, Hortonville, formerly of Kaukauna, 78, passed away Dec. 9. Survivors include six daughters and eight sons; 39 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; brothers; and sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret and his parents Cornelius and Anna (Conrad) Hietpas.

Lucille M. Hansen Bear Creek, 92, passed away Dec. 11. She worked in a Clintonville restaurant. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church, Bear Creek, where she belonged to the Ladies Aid.

Survivors include her husband Harold; her children Audrey Wendt and Caroldean (Gary) Affeldt, New London; her stepdaughters Delores Rosio, Rose (Robert) Biese and Joyce (Duane) Matz; two step-sons Dennis (Sue) Hansen and William Hansen; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 27 step-grandchildren; several step-great-grandchildren; her sister Gladys Lorenz; and her brother Arthur (Bernice) Meidam, Clintonville. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Anna (Jorgensen) Meidam; first husband Lyle Wendt; her sister Beatrice Starcheska; and her grandson Greg Affeldt. Edward C. Fietz New London, 85, passed away Dec. 12.

He was a member of the New London Fish and Game Club and served on the board of directors. He was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Ramona; his children Marjorie Fietz (Sam Budnik); Cheryl (Merton) Leeman; Julie (Dennis) Baehman, Hortonville; and Janet Fietz; four grandchildren; his brother Richard (Dolores) Fietz; and his sister Emma Fietz, Clintonville.

He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Emily (Gross) Fietz; grandson Thomas Leeman; his brother Albert Fietz and his sisters Helen Hanson and Elsie Angerman. Leo W. Young Bear Creek, 75, passed away Dec. 9. He worked at Hillshire This is our only customer service center.

He was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Anna (Suidzinski) Young; son Louie, three brothers and four sisters. Nancy (Lund) Mathison New London, 60, passed away Dec. 14. She was born Jan. 3, 1945, in Green Bay.

On Sept. 26, 1964, she was married to Roger Mathison in Lunds Church. She was a resident of New London for more than 35 years. She worked at Appleton Medical Center, Theda Clark and New London Family Medical Center. For the past 18 years she was a Learners Aid and managed the after school program at Readfield School.

She was an active member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in New London; involved in "Talk About the Savior" a church visitation program and the women's ministry. She also taught Sunday school for many years and was a volunteer in A.A.A. Pregnancy Counseling center located in Appleton. Survivors include her husband Roger; her children Perry (Linda) Mathison, Matt (Loni) Mathison, Ryan Mathison, Linda (Dale) Poeske and Josh Mathison; five grandchildren; her father and stepmother Victor and Barb Lund; her sisters Sally Lund, Vicky (Don) Ebelt and Dawn (Carl) Meulemans; her half sister Kelly Belongia; her step sisters Debbie Selle and Linda Pasterski. She was preceded in death by her mother Grace Nelson.
