Aug. 8, 1983 The Post-Crescent, Obituaries Bruce Berner 1218 Neenah New London Age 55, died unexpectedly Saturday at Appleton Memorial Hospital. He was born April 6, 1928 in the Town of Maple Creek. Mr. Berner married Helen Diehl, February 19, 1949 at Emanuel Lutheran Church, New London.

He was a lifelong resident of the New London area, and had farmed in the Town of Maple Creek until moving to New London in 1972. He was presently yard foreman for the Shiocton Lumber. Company. Mr. Berner was a member of First Lutheran Church, Shiocton.

Survivors include his wife, Helen; two daughters and sons-in-law: Faye and Robert Sturm, Appleton; Sandra and James Kieper, Wisconsin Rapids; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Berner, De Pere; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Berner, New London; two sisters: Mrs. Warren (Joyce) Garske, Town of Maple Creek; and Mrs. Lois Petitt, Minneapolis, Minnesota; and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at First Lutheran Church, Shiocton, with the Rev. Gerald E. Hinz officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah.

Friends may call at the Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, New London, from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church after 9 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of the service. Mrs. Dorothy Christian 151 McKinley Neenah Age 77, died Sunday afternoon at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.

She was born October 27, 1905 in Shiocton. Mrs. Christian had been a Neenah resident for 59 years. She was a member of Trinity, Ladies Lutheran Aide of Church, the church. Neenah, Survi- and vors include a daughter, Marjorie Popp, Neenah; a son, Melvin Beyer, Neenah; a sister, Mrs.

Adela Beyer, Shiocton; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Martin Beyer, August, 1949, her second husband, Christian, May, 1973, three brothers. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah, with the Rev. Douglas J.

Engelbrecht officiating. Burial will be in Highland Me morial Park. Friends may call at the Westgor Funeral Home, from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday (today) and at the church Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.

A memorial has been established. Addison F. Doane Forsyth, Missouri Formerly of Neenah, age 72, died Tuesday August 2. Services were held Friday afternoon at the Westgor Funeral Home, with Rev. Martin Ruege officiating.

Mr. Doane is survived by his wife, the former Viola Bowerman McKee; and was preceded in death by his first wife, Lora Drews Doane. Mrs. George Fahrbach (Cuvella) 408 Racine Street, Menasha Age 77, died late Friday afternoon at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born February 9, 1906, in Wisconsin Dells.

She had been a resident of Menasha for most of her life, and was a member of the Menasha Eagle Auxiliary, the Lenz Gazecki American Legion Auxiliary, and the Alter Guild of the St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Menasha. Survivors include Richard a (Dick) son and daughter Anderson, Menasha; and four grandchildren. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Laemmrich Fuenral Home, with the Rev.

James C. Plymire officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

A me morial has been established. Mrs. Germaine J. Holdren Route 2, Fremont 63, died Saturday evening in Age Waupaca. She was born June 20, 1920, in Oshkosh, the daughter of Francis and Anna Dolan.

Mrs. Holdren had been employed at the Lamico Company, Oshkosh, until her retirement. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Sharon) VandeCastle, Fre mont; a son, Barry Kwiatkowski; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Victor (Elveria) Befus, Oshkosh.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Norbert. Funeral service will band a.m. Wednesday at SS. Peter Paul Catholic Church, Weyauwega, with the Rev. William Rickert officiating.

Jess (Alma) Lathrop New London Age 95, died Sunday in Manawa. She was born May 4, 1888, in the Townloved of the Hortonia, farm life. where She she lived and member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, New London. Survivors include four sons: Herbert, New London; Harold and Melvin, both of Black Creek; Robert, New London; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Frances) Peebles, Oconomowoc; a daughter-in-law, Mrs.

Lydia Scott, Los Angeles; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Blanche Gallea and Mrs. Meta Lathrop, both of Appleton; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; five -grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jess, in 1961, a son, Kenneth, in 1954, a sister and two brothers. The funeral will be 2 p.m.

Hoover Age 39, died unexpectedly at 6:30 p.m. Friday, August 5, 1983. He was born September 15, 1943, in Green Bay, and had been an area resident for the past 14 years. Mr. Robbins had been employed by the Appleton Paper Company for nearly 14 years, where he was a staff research associate and project leader.

He graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point, in 1967. Mr. Robbins was a member of several professional organizations. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Marine Corps, from 1967 until 1969.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra S. Johnson Robbins; two sons: Jeffrey Lee, and Jonathon James, both at home; his parents: Mr. and Mrs. Walder D. (Muriel Skinner) Robbins, Green Bay; a sister, Virginia Koch, Omaha, Ne braska; his mother-in-law, Mrs.

Mary Johnson, a sister-in-law and. her husband, Mr. and Mrs. George (Charlene) Hamm; two nephews and a niece, all of Columbus, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Charles Johnson.

The funeral services were at 11 a.m. Monday at the Wichmann Funeral Home, with Rev. Ronald Schneider officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund is being established.

Richard L. Seidl 1413 S. Lawe Street Age 22, died unexpectedly Saturday at St. Elizabeth Hospital. He was born September 8, 1960, in Appleton.

He was a student at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a graduate of Appleton East High School. He will be sadly missed by his mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Michael H. Seidl; seven brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas and Nicole, James and Donna, Donald and Luanne, John and Jan, Robert and Steven, all of Appleton; Michael, St.
