MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 1994 0 POST-CRESCENT, APPLETON-NEENAH-MENASHA, WIS. Floyd E. Barden Age 73, formerly of Oshkosh, died Saturday, November 19, 1994 at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah. He was born March 11, 1921 in Portage Countythe son of William and Amy Mae (Fancher) Barden. He married Martelle (Dolly) Lebeck on September 10, 1976 in Oshkosh.

She preceded him in death on January 24, 1987. Floyd had worked at Pluswood for many years until his retirement and was a WWII Army Veteran. His survivors include: a son, Gary (Laurie) Barden, Neenah; a daughter Charlene (Dan) Brehmer, Oshkosh; a step-daughter Sue Rae (Dale) Miller, Menasha; a step-son, Marshall Hafemeister, Florida; a sister, Mildred Campbell, Idaho; two brothers: William (Ada) Barden, Green Lake; Clifford (Laurie) Barden, Waupaca: Four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; former wife, Edna Slover, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 22, at 1:00 p.m.

Age 93, passed away Sunday, November 20, 1994. She was born May 22, 1901 in Appleton, daughter of the late Daniel and Tillie Nussbaum and had been an Appleton resident her entire life. She was united in marriage to Harry Dietz on June 6, 1928. He preceded her in death November 10, 1975. Irene was a former member of the St.

Joseph Christian Mothers Society and had been an active member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Lady Elks, Catholic Daughters and St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary. Her favorite past times included spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, shopping and playing cards.

Survivors include a daughter, Sharon Zahn; a son-in-law, Jack Zahn, Waupaca; six grandchildren: Lori (Jerry) Deering, Appleton; Richard (Rosan) Zahn, Stevens Point; Robert (Susan) Zahn, Appleton; Gregory Zahn, Washington, D.C.; James Zahn, Saint Louis Park, Minnesota; David Zahn, Chicago; seven greatgrandchildren: Heather and Eric Deering, Appleton; Molly, Theresa and Sarah Zahn, Stevens Point; Michael and Geoffrey Zahn, Appleton. Edwin Lewis Rasmussen enue, Appleton, age 76, passed away Saturday, November 19, 1994 at Franciscan Care Center following a lingering illness. He was born June 18, 1918 in the Town of Navarino, the son of the late Oscar and Carrie (Amundsen) Rasmussen and resided in the Fox Valley since 1954. Lewis drove for Yellow Cab Company in Appleton retiring in 1982.

He was a member of the Appleton Community Evangelical Free Church. Elizabeth Hospital following a brief illness. He was born September 15, 1911 in De Pere, the eldest of 14 children of the late Carl and Rose (O'Donnell) Weigman. Don married Beatrice "Bee" Koehler at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Weyerhauser, Wisconsin. He was employed at Appleton Papers Locks Mill for 44 years, retiring in 1972.

He and his wife Bee owned and operated Bee's Beauty Shop for over 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Allouez Assembly 1149, Knights of Columbus 1033 Kaukauna, Kaukauna Elks Lodge 962, Charter Member of the Combined Locks Credit Union, The Friends of 1000 Islands and AARP. He was also a member of the Maranatha Prayer Group of Holy Cross and the St. Pauls Monday Night Prayer Group.
